Our Lady of Lebanon parish in Miami held its 2nd Annual Christmas Concert which was attended by more than 300 persons. The performance was by two choirs, the parish choir in Arabic and the a Spanish choir formed by members of the Latin congregation attending Mass at Our Lady of Lebanon Church. The audience joined in the singing of the famous "Feliz Navidad" and clapped to the hymns sang during the performance. It took 3 month for the Arabic choir to prepare for this performance while the Spanish choir joined in about a month ago. The pastor, Father Elie Mikhael, welcomed the attendees and invited them for dinner prepared by the parishioners in the church hall in the church hall afterward. This community was struck by a tragedy on Thanksgiving Day due to the murder of 2 of it parishioners who used to perform at this and similar events at this parish. Everyone seemed to be in good spirit reminiscing about the two angels they lost, Lisa and Carla Merhige, but determined to move forward offering their prayers for the bereaved family."
